Who books a move clean

Tenants preparing a property for a final inspection, landlords and agents turning a unit around between tenancies, and buyers who want a home cleaned properly before the furniture arrives. The property is usually empty or nearly empty, which is exactly when cupboards, appliances, skirting and floors can be cleaned end to end.

What a move clean typically covers

  • Kitchen: inside and outside of cupboards and drawers, hob, oven exterior, fridge interior if it is empty and switched off, sink and splashback
  • Bathrooms: toilet, basin, bath, shower screen, tiles, grout surface, mirrors and fittings
  • Bedrooms and living areas: wardrobe interiors, shelves, skirting boards, switches, doors and door frames
  • Floors throughout: vacuumed and mopped, including under where furniture stood
  • Windows: interior glass and sills; exterior glass on request

Extras such as oven interior, air-conditioning filters, balconies, garages and post-construction dust are agreed separately. Tell us what you need so the scope and price reflect the actual job.

Empty or furnished?

Let us know whether the property is empty, partly furnished or still occupied. An empty property is faster to clean thoroughly. If furniture remains, tell us which cupboards and appliance interiors are in scope.

Timing around keys and inspections

Share the date you hand over or collect keys, and any inspection time. Move cleans take longer than a regular visit, so give the office as much notice as you can. The request is reviewed and confirmed before the appointment; a submitted request is not yet a booking.

Getting a price

Use the booking form to select a move-in or move-out clean and review the displayed price for the number of bedrooms and bathrooms. For larger properties, post-construction cleaning or anything that needs a look first, request an estimate instead.
